Studio Dress Code & Attire

At VOLTA Performing Arts, we hold firm in the belief that adhering to a proper dress code is an essential element that fosters a profound sense of belonging within our dance family. It serves a greater purpose beyond aesthetics; it plays a pivotal role in shaping a conducive learning environment as well as enabling unrestricted movement to ensure safety in the classroom.

Significance of our Dress Code:

  1. Encouraging Discipline

  2. Identifying Non-Students

  3. Instilling Belonging and Pride

  4. Boosting Attendance

  5. Safety

We believe that a unified appearance reinforces the values of teamwork, commitment, and dedication that are at the core of VOLTA Performing Arts.

VOLTA’s Leo Library

At VOLTA Performing Arts, we understand the importance of accessibility to dance education, and to support our families and new students, we offer a shoe and leotard library. This library provides a range of dance shoes and leotards, allowing those in need of financial assistance or those wanting to try dance class without purchasing new attire to participate fully in our classes. We believe in fostering an inclusive and supportive dance community, ensuring that every student has the opportunity to explore the world of dance with confidence and enthusiasm.  If your child has outgrown their ballet shoes, leotards, or ballet skirts and you would like to donate them to our library, we will gladly accept them.  Please note that we do not accept used tights for donation.
