What to Expect
Weekly Rehearsals: Learn choreography, refine technique, and bring Nutcracker characters to life
Character Development: Embody roles like the Sugar Plum Fairy, Mouse Queen, and The Nutcracker
Storytelling Through Dance: Perform excerpts from the Nutcracker repertoire tailored to each level
The Big Stage Experience: Rehearse and prepare for a full-scale production that showcases every dancer’s hard work

Dancers must meet participation requirements to join the cast, and additional featured roles are available through auditions only

Show Participation Requirements Additional Roles
Open to VOLTA Students Only
Dancers must be enrolled in regular once-a-week, Season 9 dance classes (starting Sept '25) to participate in The Nutcracker Suite
Training Camp Prerequisite:
Dancers must have completed either of the "Middles" or "Bigs" The Nutcracker Training Camp

"Littles" are not eligible for featured roles (Solo/Duets or Principals)
Dancers must meet participation requirements to join the cast, and additional featured roles are available through auditions only
